Intern, Web Development and Consulting Services

CMS Creations (CMSC) actively promotes the idea of giving back to the global and local community.  One of the simple ways we accomplish this is by providing selected individuals access to Information Technology (IT) training and technical resources.  We typically provide this opportunity through our Intern, Web Development and Consulting Services positions.  These are non-paid internships, where an individual can work with a CMSC mentor and learn about the Web Development and IT Consulting world.

CMSC internships provide individuals:

- Access to a variety of Operating System, Communications and Web Application software (Installing, Configuring, Updating and Managing).
- Training, counseling and discussion on the proper use of each technology.
- Training on overall consulting practices and principles.
- Hands-on experience building dynamic and static websites.
- Hands-on experience administrating Proprietary and Open Source web applications.
- Hands-on operational experience with Project Management, Trouble Ticket, Customer Relationship Management, Human Resources Management, Web Analytics, and Document Management Systems.
- Application Backup/Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)/Contingency of Operations Planning (COOP) concepts, training and familiarization.
- Guidance on developing and improving technical writing skills.
